Check the truck route and drop point
A loaded truck needs adequate width, turning room, overhead clearance, firm ground, and a legal safe place to unload. The driver or supplier controls the final delivery decision. Keep people, vehicles, utilities, structures, and neighboring property out of the unloading path.
Compare the complete delivered scope
A useful quote identifies product, estimated quantity, load size, delivery charge, minimums, wait time, and whether any spreading or equipment work is included. The lowest price per ton may not be the lowest completed-job cost.
